I realize this blog is all but defunct, but I thought I would try to breathe some life into it. This summer I have taken my karaoke to a new level. I've brought in an accomplice on a song and even convinced her to tell her sweetie what she wanted to do with his hand through musical interlude.
With that, if anyone bothers to read this, what is your favorite karaoke song?
Myself, the all time go to song is "You Don't Own Me," but this summer I've leaned on "Take A Chance on Me" as a bubbly summer piece. In other news, has anyone seen Mamma Mia, the sing along edition?

My favorite karaoke songs are "I'm So Excited" (as a duet with Becky) and "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (particularly when some random guy in the bowling alley is drunk enough to grab the other microphone and do the "turn around bright eyes" part.)
Although if I were karaoke-ing with YOU I'd totally be doing ABBA!
and don't forget about American Pie. I watched that episode of the office where Michael and Dwight sing it at the chair model's grave. Memories...
